Our Most Favorite (and Simple) Ways to Cultivate PIE
Smile 😃 It releases feel-good hormones and smiling is contagious.
Include friendly greetings and salutations on written communication. E.g., "Looking forward to problem solving with you."
Tell jokes, like. "How do you make a tissue dance? Put a little boogie in it!" Humor can be an antidote for negative spiraling. A joke can add levity and insert a pause to support pivoting toward the positive.
End conversations with a positive recap. E.g., "I am glad we got to spend time catching up today."
Text friends to let them know you are thinking about them. "Wishing you well - have a fabulous Tuesday!"
